1999 Sea Ray 290 Sundancer

About This Listing

This 290 Sundancer runs a single Mercury stern drive where most from this model year carried two, and that changes the ownership picture in ways worth thinking through. One engine means simpler servicing and lower running costs, though maneuvering in tight quarters will ask more of you than a twin-engine setup would. The 500 hp figure is serious for a single-engine configuration on a boat this length, so getting on plane shouldn't be a struggle. At 10,500 lbs dry it sits roughly a thousand pounds heavier than a typical example from this year, likely a reflection of how it's been fitted out.
