2011 Sea Ray Sundancer 280

About This Listing

Where most Sundancer 280s from this year run a single stern-drive MerCruiser, this one carries twin Mercury outboards and nearly double the usual horsepower. That combination changes what the boat is: two engines give you redundancy on the water and cleaner low-speed maneuvering, and 600 hp means you're on plane fast regardless of how many people are aboard. Outboards also leave the transom open and simplify out-of-water servicing. Based in Key Largo, it's rigged for the kind of use that asks more of a boat than a weekend on the lake.
